Wood is a theme that continues in the villas, in their furnishings and fixtures – it’s like being in your own forest cabin. We love the bathroom lights, nestled in a cute, curvy log suspended from the ceiling.
Out on the deck, you can really appreciate the quiet. It’s undeniably romantic, drawing you to nature, to the empty horizon in the distance, the murmuring lagoon nearby and of course, to your significant other.
There are no buffets here. Dining is a la carte throughout the property. Main restaurant, The Sand, exudes a barefoot feel and brims with romance. It’s THE place to cosy up with your loved one.
La Pasta has a South Italian ambiance thanks to its food, music and décor – oh, and we were totally enamoured of its chequered tablecloths and pretty Villeroy & Boch floral patterned plates.
Of course, what will truly impress is the Lago-designed underwater restaurant, H2O. Six metres beneath the waves, flanked by manicured coral gardens, watch the fauna while feasting on Chef Giovanni de Ambrosis’ luscious treats.
