AS Marine showcased some new products at the Maldives Marine Expo 2019, held at Dharubaaruge from 23 to 25 October.
The theme of the exhibition was marine technology, which was explored by experts and specialists in the field.
AS Marine debuted four vessels at the exhibition.
The AS 47, a 60-passenger capacity boat with a crew of three, stands out with its passenger plane-like ergonomic seating.
A smaller boat, the Coast Craft 38 Plus, with seating for 31 passengers including crew was also showcased.
The two additional crafts include a diving dhoni and a small fishing vessel with a daybed at the aft of the boat for added comfort.
“The expo was very successful,” said Ismail Shareef, operations manager at AS Marine. “It helped us showcase our new products and they were very well received by the public.”
