Conrad Maldives Rangali Island will be bringing its sustainability and community outreach programme to the fore of during the festive season’s celebrations this year, reports the Luxury Travel Magazine.
The property has joined hands with local artists and designers who share the resort’s commitment to nurturing local culture and will be hosting its first Maldives Artisanal Market.
The market will feature homegrown brands like MAJOIE Maldives who offer natural and sustainable luxury skincare products made by Maldivian women, and local lifestyle brand Island Bazaar offering a selection of uniquely Maldivian products. It will also showcase the talents of local artist Eagan Badeeu, whose Manta-ray inspired artwork decorates some of the resort’s premium villas.
Guests will get the opportunity to enjoy a range of exclusive experiences during the festive season. These include special menus at several restaurants, including a unique dining experience with celebrity chef Jeremy Leung at Ufaa, a winter wonderland market with games, food stalls and a visit from Santa Claus.
