Boat manufacturer Al-Shaali Marine (AS Marine) showcased some vessels aimed at big-game and sport fishing at the Fisheries Expo 2019, organized by the ministry of fisheries and agriculture.
Vessels include the smaller crafts Action 25 and Skipper 34 and the larger Coast Craft 37, modified for fishing. A modified dhoni, Island Hopper, was also on the catalogue, built for both big-game and live-bait fishing.
Moomin Rasheed, assistant operations manager at AS Marine said:
“We’re excited to be part of this expo and we hope there’s an even greater support for the event in the coming years. We’re always glad to support the fisheries sector – it’s one of the pillars of our economy.”
The expo, now in its third year, saw the participation of 14 companies and concludes on the 8th of this month.
