Amilla to have the ‘party of the century’ on New Year’s Eve

The Luxe and hip Baa Atoll resort Amilla Fushi has a great line-up for this New Year’s Eve with singers Pixie Geldof and Ella Eyre set to perform at the property.

Joining them will be DJ and BBC Radio 1 ‘Drivetime’ host Nick Grimshaw. Meanwhile, Eyre’s follow-up to her Gold-selling album ‘Feline’ is due to drop next year and Amilla guests may just get lucky enough to be the first to hear her new material.

The party is open to all guests, gratis, and kicks off at sunset on the last day of December. The ‘party of the century’ goes through an ‘era-spanning’ evening, with guests experiencing the Roaring Twenties with jazz and speakeasies, a 50s Americana inspired drive-in, an 80s disco-buffet, and is set to end with a bang with a fireworks display.

The property’s got more up its sleeve – there are festive ‘foodie surprises’, with an amazing culinary journey at Amilla’s Feeling Koi Japanese restaurant in the works and theme nights at the Baa-zaar. And Australian football icon Tim Cahill is going to inspire young footballers with a four-day training camp.

The seven-night festive stay at Amilla starts at USD 10,415++. Visit amilla.mv for more details.
