July is supposed to be a good month for new resorts, and this July will be witnessing a property with a huge focus on wellness. Kagi Maldives Spa island in North Male Atoll is set to be a wellness enthusiast’s dream.
The resort has a 16,000 square feet wellness spot, the Baani Spa, on the edge of the lagoon. The complex features a teardrop shaped floating yoga pavilion, four treatment rooms with outdoor bathing facilities, a relaxation lounge, a beauty salon, steam rooms and a yoga and sound-healing studio.
The facility is set to provide alternative therapies alongside normal treatments and will also provide health and nutritional coaching.
The property was designed by the Japanese-American architect Yuji Yamazaki who’s known for his remarkable work at Kudadoo Maldives Private Island and Hurawalhi Island Resort.
