If you know anything about Fairmont Sirru Fen Fushi, you’d know that it’s one of those super chic and ultra-private places that does really great stuff on the downlow.
We got word of their Easter plans this time and they are awesome.
For starters, they have planned incredible culinary offerings at the Raha restaurant, which will transform into an Easter Market. Local and international haute cuisine will be on offer here. For the Easter Sunday Brunch at Raha, there’s going to be a BBQ in an open fire-pit that offers Brazilian Picanha style, slow-cooked marinated Australian brisket, and grilled New Zealand lamb racks served with salad from the chef’s fresh and sustainably grown garden. An unmissable treat is Chefs “crème brûlsée easter eggs”, soft chocolate egg tarts, and hot cross buns. Plus, there’s a raft of Easter themed cocktails to complement this experience. Lush!
All of this is supervised by Sirru Fen Fushi’s talented team of chefs:
Chef Liz from Venezuela, who discovered her desire for cooking while she was with her grandparents. She started her culinary journey exploring exciting destinations from Brazil, Argentina, Spain, Italy, Kuwait, Indonesia, India, Myanmar, and now landing in the Maldives. Her knowledge of numerous cuisines from around the world drives her cooking mantra for – “Freshness and Sustainability.”
Chef Mukhammed Gavi started his culinary voyage at 14 with his mother’s home-cooking in St. Petersburg, Russia. He knew he wanted to be a chef the moment he donned the chef’s jacket. One of his career highlights was working within the United Arab Emirates where he showcased his skills in cooking Russian, International, and Arabic specialties. For Easter, Chef Gavi presents many of these dishes.
Chef Mori began assisting his uncle in the kitchen, observing as much as he could. Chef Mori travels the world sharing his culinary heritage and learning within the 5-star hotel kitchens. Now in Fairmont Maldives Sirru Fen Fushi, he is thrilled to prepare Indonesian specialties for all the guests to experience.
Executive Chef Abdullah’s favourite dishes are ones that are authentic. His father always tells him, “When you cook with care, you give love. When you serve food with passion and humility, you nourish the body and soul.”
There’s more than just culinary delights at Sirru Fen Fushi this Easter – there are activities for children, entertainment shows and a whole lot of fun-tastic activities for guests of all ages.
