Wellness at Westin Maldives promotes restorative sleep

In conjunction with World Sleep Day on 18 March, the Westin Maldives Miriandhoo Resort is launching a seven-day wellness programme aimed at improving the quality of sleep for guests.

The week-long programme includes one complimentary daily workout session, a sauna and steam room experience with aromatic essences, and a wide variety of suggested spa treatments. The resort will also host an Annual Pajama Party with entertainment, surprises and recommendations for a healthy lifestyle.

“Sleep connects directly with your mental well-being, so training your breath and maintaining a breathing pattern is really important. Meditation helps with that, to calm your mind and relax your body allowing you to sleep well through the night,” explained the resort’s fitness instructor, Estalitaa Pinto, who will guide a night meditation at the beach.

The wellness-oriented brand launched The Westin Heavenly® Bed almost 20 years ago. Westin Hotels & Resorts offer a varied selection of pillows according to each person’s preference, a relaxing playlist specially created by a music curator, and a balm infused with calming essential oils from lavender and chamomile to help ease guests into a sound slumber.
