Patina Maldives and Ritz-Carlton Maldives hosted its first ‘Fari Festival’ on 30 November, an evening of live music, great food and exquisite artisan pop-ups by local artists at the Fari Marina Village.
Delicious canapés and signature cocktails flowed throughout the evening. A ‘Tuk Tuk’ truck served up unique flavours of gelato with many toppings to choose from, while several food shacks offered hummus, sushi, bao buns and grilled meat sticks to name a few.
The pop-up shops displayed handmade soap, jewelry, essential oils, candles, swimwear and unique souvenirs crafted by local artisans, including Island Bazaar, Shore Jewelry, Ogaa Beauty, Pepper Dots Arts & Crafts, Thakethi Educational Materials, See from the Sky, Lanala Swimwear, Vilunü, and Rock Prints Arts & Crafts.
A dedicated kids area offered face painting and fun activities.
