La Vie Hotels & Resorts has announced the opening of the first resort under its new lifestyle brand NOOE Hotels & Restaurants. Located in Vaavu atoll, NOOE Maldives Kunaavashi is a 25-minute seaplane ride away from the Velana International Airport.
NOOE, which stands for Never Odd Or Even, “brings together what it means to live a balanced lifestyle; blending work, play, relaxation, good food and drink, and adventure all into one.”
The resort features 72 villas, including beachside bungalows and overwater villas. With a master bedroom on the upper floor and a downstairs lounge, its two-storey overwater villas feature private pools and large decks offering uninterrupted ocean views.
The resort boasts six food and beverage outlets. Its signature chargrill restaurant, Flame, offers local seafood delicacies, juicy poultry, and a range of dry-aged meats. Ìrǔ, its all-day dining restaurant promises vibrant themed nights, sensational entertainment and cooking stations that provide an immersive culinary experience. Its Japanese restaurant, w·āsho’ku, features a Teppanyaki grill and sushi bar, and a menu that encompasses both traditional and modern dishes, along with an extensive range of Sake and signature Japanese-inspired cocktails.
The resort’s laidback lounge, Clubhouse, offers freshly brewed barista coffee and cocktails accompanied by handcrafted tapas, with great sunset views. Vēlì, its day club, pool and bar, offers a selection of pizzas, burgers, salads and hand-rolled ice-cream that guests can enjoy while lounging by the pool. For afternoon tea and bites, mõ·odhǔ café promises handcrafted pastries and wholesome delicacies.
NOOE Maldives Kunaavashi also boasts a dive and watersports center, a kids club and a boutique shop. Its Th·āri by Mandara Spa offers three private treatment rooms with a range of curated treatment options.
