The Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) hosted an exclusive familiarisation trip for top bloggers from Kazakhstan to experience the exceptional offerings from the ‘Sunny Side of Life’ from 10 to 17 August.
The participants consisted of five bloggers who immersed themselves in the unique experiences, products and renowned services of Maldives, and collectively showcased the breathtaking charm of the Maldives. According to the MMPRC, the content creators will promote the Maldives through social media platforms such as Instagram and Tiktok where they have a large following, thereby generating an extensive reach. Each content creator showcased the unique experiences Maldives has to offer from their unique perspective.
During their visit, the participants indulged in a series of unforgettable experiences in various resorts of Maldives. The team was hosted by Fiyavalhu Resort Maldives, Brennia Kottefaru and Dhigali Maldives.
“The diverse activities and experiences they engaged in will further strengthen Maldives’ brand in the market and promote Maldives as a top-of-mind destination in the CIS region,” the MMPRC said.
According to the MMPRC, the familiarisation trip is part of its marketing strategy for the CIS market, with a focus on showcasing the Maldives’ diverse and unique aspects to travellers from the region.
“Kazakhstan market has exceeded the pre-pandemic arrival figures in 2021 and the arrivals are also expected to grow towards the end of the year as the connectivity from the market increases. Visit Maldives exhibited in Kazakhstan International Travel Fair earlier this year and this FAM trip is another activity in the market to showcase the stunning beauty of Maldives, attracting more travellers from the CIS region,” the MMPC said.
