Renowned Chef, Eyck Zimmer, curates an exclusive menu for OUTRIGGER Maldives Maafushivaru Resort

Celebrated chef Eyck Zimmer will be the guest chef at OUTRIGGER Maldives Maafushivaru Resort on the 22nd and 29th of January 2024. Chef Zimmer has designed two five-course dining experiences at the resort’s Art-i-san restaurant, collaborating with the esteemed Executive Chef Christopher Long, and his culinary team.

Chef Zimmer’s illustrious career has been celebrated with prestigious awards such as Meilleur Ouvrier de Grande Bretagne in 2000, British Chef of the Year in 2006 and Portuguese Chef of the Year in 2008. His contributions to French culture and culinary excellence earned him the title of Chevalier du Mérite Agricole by the French Government in 2014. He also possesses the title of Master of Culinary Arts from the Royal Academy of Culinary Arts of Great Britain.

Chef Zimmer has graced some of the United Kingdom’s most renowned kitchens, including Claridge’s, The Dorchester, The Ritz and The Savoy. His culinary prowess has also left a mark on five-star establishments in Switzerland, Portugal, Serbia and Germany. Presently, Eyck Zimmer serves as the Director of Culinary at the illustrious Jockey Club in Hong Kong.
