Oaga Art Resort, a local brand in the Maldives, has announced an open call for creatives to showcase their artwork in Veyoge Gallery Villas. Applications will remain open until the end of the month.
The Veyoge Gallery Pool Villas at the resort integrate art within their luxurious spaces. Last year, nearly 160 pieces from 40 local artists decorated the walls of these villas. Guests of the villas have the opportunity to purchase authentic Maldivian art pieces, allowing local artists to showcase their work to a large and diverse audience.
The resort is once again inviting artists to curate a new collection for the villas. “We’re so grateful to be able to offer a platform for local artists to showcase their work and potentially connect with art lovers from around the world,” says the team at Oaga Art Resort.
“We also contribute $1 for each artwork displayed, for each night a guest stays in the Veyoge Gallery Villas. This is just one way we can show our appreciation for the incredible talent in the Maldives.”
