Maldives Marketing & PR Corporation (MMPRC/Visit Maldives) announced the opening of participation for EMITT 2024, last week. The prestigious travel and tourism exhibition will be held for the Eastern Mediterranean region from 6th to 9th February at the Tuyap Fair and Congress Centre in Istanbul, Türkiye. The participation opportunities are limited relative to the space available in the event.
Visit Maldives will showcase the destination’s offerings and strengthen connections within the global travel community during the four-day event. Visit Maldives aims to engage potential agents and buyers in the Türkiye market to elevate the impact of the Maldives’ tourism sector.
The Turkish market ranked 25th as a source market with a notable 33.4% increase with 14,007 arrivals. An increased connectivity to the Central & Eastern European market has been noted as well. Participation in this fair presents a vital opportunity to further boost arrivals from this region and achieve significant growth.
