Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC/ Visit Maldives) has announced that Maldives will be represented at Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2024. ATM is the leading global event for the inbound and outbound travel industry in the Middle East. The fair is being held from 6th to 9th May 2024 at Dubai World Trade Center, Dubai, UAE.
A circular has been distributed for expression of interest for ATM 2024. This enables MMPRC to estimate the overall number of companies interested in participating in the event before booking the stand space. MMPRC aims to give opportunities to all interested parties to participate in the fair and facilitate a platform for industry partners to promote their individual products and experiences.
The Middle Eastern market is a key source market for the Maldives. During the global pandemic, 2021 was recorded as the highest number of arrivals from the Middle East, owing to Maldives being one of the few countries with their borders open. Last year, Maldives welcomed over 78,966 tourist arrivals from the Middle East.
Interested companies who would like to take part in this event can apply via the google form “Expression of Interest for ATM 2024” before 23rd January 2024.
