The Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Fari Islands celebrates the Lunar New Year with a week of curated experiences designed to honor traditions by embracing creativity, courage, confidence and passion. From February 9th to 15th, the resort will celebrate with an array of dining, wellness, arts and adventure experiences that highlight the global significance of the holiday, with a local touch. 

A Reunion Dinner will be held on 9th February, Reunion Day, followed by a Lion Dance Performance on 10th February, which is the Lunar New Year. On 11th February, Day of Home Return, an educational ladies’ skincare workshop will be held in the morning followed by a calming full moon yoga session in the night.

On 12th February, a chef’s table wine dinner is in the works, that will pair fine Chinese cuisine and exceptional wines. A cocktail and fire pit lighting ceremony, followed by a Maldivian-themed dinner will be held on 13th February. And on 14th February, a hands-on dumpling cooking class is scheduled, with a coral regeneration workshop on 15th February.

Visiting practitioner Lei Ming, will help guests cultivate a stronger connection between mind and body through the art of Tai Chi. From February 1st to 15th, he will offer private and group Tai Chi sessions and Tai Chi Internal Kung Fu Massages. The festivities will continue throughout the week with additional activities.
