JA Manafaru reintroduces its Teppanyaki Experience

After a four-year hiatus, JA Manafaru brings back its teppanyaki grill with a skilled master chef. The experience is designed for three nights a week with 12 guests, from February 1st onwards.

After winning the “Best Culinary Resort” award at TTM in 2023, Executive Chef Moosa Nazeer was motivated to elevate the resort’s culinary experience. The Teppanyaki Experience allows guests to choose from the best seafood the Indian Ocean has to offer, or a choice of meat from the resort’s carefully selected Ethical Meat program.

JA Manafaru introduced the Ethical Meat program in 2023, in order to allow travelers to know where their food comes from, and that animals are treated humanely during the rearing process. This program is a part of the resort’s sustainability and wellness initiatives.

Wellness Your Way, which launched in 2023, is also featured in the Teppanyaki Experience. Dedicated versions of the menu cater to Vegan/Vegetarian, Gluten Free, Dairy Free and low carb eating lifestyles, so that every guest can enjoy the live cooking at the Teppan grill.

“I am beyond thrilled to reintroduce our Teppanyaki at JA Manafaru. This was previously one of our most popular dining experiences, and we have taken the hiatus to refine and develop our offering and we can’t wait to see our guests enjoying this once again” Chef Moosa Nazeer commented.
