Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC/ Visit Maldives) is showcasing Maldives at the East Mediterranean International Travel and Tourism Exhibition (EMITT) 2024. The event is being held at the Tuyap Fair and Congress Centre in Türkiye, Istanbul from 06th to 09th February 2024.
Nineteen representatives of twelve companies from the Maldives tourism industry are partaking in the event, representing their properties, services, and unique products to the market.
EMITT is one the biggest travel trade shows in the East Mediterranean region. With improved direct connectivity with the Maldives, the potential of the market is growing by the day as arrival numbers continue to increase. The Turkish market was ranked 24th as a source market with 12,856 tourist arrivals last year.
The upcoming marketing activities of MMPRC include campaigns with major tour operators, media press and familiarization trips and campaigns with prominent publications.
