InterContinental Maldives Maamunagau Resort announces their curated Easter activity program for this April.
Entertainment brand, Sharky & George will be making their inaugural appearance at the resort this Easter from 28th March to 3rd April. Sharky & George will be hosting a week-long itinerary of Easter activities at Planet Trekkers, the resort’s signature kids club. The activities are tailored for aspiring marine biologists and inquisitive young minds with engaging activities such as arts, crafts and mini-expeditions that celebrate Maamunagau Island.
Chef Marianne Lumb will grace the resort with her culinary expertise and take over The Lighthouse from 31st March to 10th April. Chef Lumb’s culinary prowess was showcased through her time on BBC’s Saturday Kitchen Live, and as a finalist for Professional Master Chef and Great British Menu. Her restaurant in Notting Hill, Marianne, is known for its innovative and exquisite dining.
A crafted family activity program is also running from 29th March to 3rd April at Planet Trekkers. The Planet Trekker Easter program includes traditional Easter egg hunts, arts and crafts and a Pirate Cruise in the Maamunagau Lagoon. Families can also enjoy open-air cinema nights, partake in the kite festival and savor a curated culinary journey across the resort’s range of restaurants. The adults-only ‘Retreat’ includes a bar, infinity pool, and a restaurant.
The Chocolate Factory will showcase artistic displays for the yearly Easter festivities. Their creations are Jungle Book-themed with derivations from Easter and the natural wonders in Maldives. The resort is also hosting the second Manta Trust Charity Run on 30th March. Donations will be made to The Manta Trust, which is one of the world’s leading manta ray research organizations.
