Patina Maldives is hosting Michelin Star-awarded Chef Kazuo Harada at KŌEN, the resort’s Japanese restaurant, from 12th to 16th March, 2024. Famed as a culinary maestro, Chef Kazuo Harada is celebrated for his blending of Japanese and Brazilian cuisine, and is overseeing an exclusive series of Omakase dinners at the resort.
Born to a Japanese father and a Brazilian mother, Chef Kazuo’s passion for gastronomy was ignited by his grandfather, who owned an oriental restaurant in the heart of Liberdade. Chef Kazuo’s culinary journey began at Grand Hyatt in São Paulo, leading him to immersive experiences in Japan and Dubai. Chef Kazuo was honored as Chef of the Year 2023/2024 by Veja Comer & Beber.
Chef Kazuo Harada joins a series of culinary luminaries hosted at Patina Maldives, including the renowned Michelin-starred chef Bo Bech. Chef Bech will return in September to further showcase the Nordic culinary movement at KŌEN.
