Sun Siyam Resorts is planning a lineup of events and festivities to celebrate Eid Al Fitr across its five properties in the Maldives, from 9th to 12th April 2024.
Siyam World will host renowned Moroccan-Dutch singer Hind Laroussi and international percussionist and DJ Walter Scalzone. Chef Theodoros Katsoulotos will create three exclusive dining experiences featuring Mediterranean and European cuisine. Guests can partake in traditional Maldivian festivities including a special breakfast at Tempo Restaurant, Eid kulhivaru beach games, and the bodumas event at the beach. Younger guests can enjoy the children’s art and xraft workshop and a photo booth with traditional wear.
Sun Siyam Olhuveli will welcome renowned illusionist Mohammed Mountassir. Children and families can partake in an immersive kid’s interactive hands-on workshop and a magic performance.
Sun Siyam Iru Fushi will host Chef Ahmed Fatheen, who is renowned for his expertise in Japanese cuisine. Guests can also immerse themselves in the cultural heritage of the Maldives at a Maldivian Village, which will offer a glimpse into traditional Maldivian craftsmanship, cultural performances, and cuisine.
The celebration at Sun Siyam Vilu Reef will feature an Eid lunch at Aqua restaurant, followed by a day filled with beach activities and an authentic Thali style dinner at the Traditional Cultural Village. Guests can enjoy a beach party, kids pool soccer with live DJ, an Eid kite challenge, and a curated Eid pamper package at the resort’s spa.
Sun Siyam Iru Veli will host a fusion of cultural immersion, cuisine and wellness activities. Guests can indulge in a themed Eid lunch buffet at Aqua Orange restaurant. An Eid themed BBQ dinner will offer a diverse array of Maldivian flavors and a cultural show featuring traditional Maldivian performances will be held as well.
