American Astronaut Nicole Stott and space advisor Christina Korp will hold a space camp at COMO Maalifushi from August 5th to 14th 2024. The camp offers an immersive, one-of-a-kind experience that mixes adventure and education, teaching children and adults about outer space through art, food and movement. Stott will also be leading a reef dive at the resort from August 16th to 17th.

Stott’s “Postcards to Space” project will include writing postcards with artwork and messages which will be sent up to space and returned as a keepsake with a “flown in space” stamp. Other activities include space themed games, educational sessions, creating artwork, space themed culinary projects, and more.

Stott spent almost three decades working with NASA, 104 days in space at the International Space Station (ISS), and was the tenth woman in history to conduct a space walk. She is also the co-founder of the Space for Art Foundation. The mission of the foundation is to unite a planetary community of children through the awe and wonder of space exploration, and the healing power of art.
