Patina Maldives celebrates their third anniversary with a month-long focus on community outreach and youth engagement. The resort recently hosted two events that showcased their dedication to community engagement and the celebration of milestones.
On May 10th, in honor of Maldives Children’s Day, Patina Maldives welcomed young students from Care Society for a day of creativity and enjoyment on the island. Throughout the day, the children participated in workshops that included coral ceramics sessions led by the resort’s resident marine biologist, as well as painting, leaf art, origami, and bracelet-making activities at the resort’s Fari Art Atelier.
Resort Manager Guillaume Verdier delivered a speech and remarked on the transformative power of creativity and the importance of nurturing young minds. “At Patina Maldives, we believe in the power of creativity and community. We are pleased to have celebrated Maldives Children’s Day and to have hosted these incredible young talents from Care Society. It has been a truly rewarding experience for us and has confirmed our commitment to supporting the next generation and helping them explore their potential in a nurturing environment.”
The resort commemorated its third anniversary on May 18th with a meaningful visit to Gaafaru Island. The resort team met with the management team of Gaafaru Island School and the children, presenting a significant donation to enhance educational opportunities. The donation included a state-of-the-art TV and computer system for the school library, aimed at empowering students with modern learning tools and fostering a culture of innovation and growth in the community.
The resort also hosted a cocktail party at the Beach House with a DJ and wine tasting experience featuring selections from Château Minuty. The cocktail celebration served as a platform to showcase the resort’s journey to new life habits, with a series of posters unveiling the transformation, reflecting Patina’s dedication to perpetuity.
