Renowned celebrity Chef Kunwal Safdar will be in residence at Intercontinental Maldives Maamunagau Resort from 15th to 17th June 2024, introducing her fusion of modern Punjab-Persian cuisine. Safdar is the head chef and owner of the award-winning sustainable food and beverage company Moreish by K. Her conscientious practices in the kitchen ensure that all food waste is recycled, with sustainability and community at the core of her work.
During her stay, Safdar will take over The Lighthouse restaurant for three nights as part of the culinary events and activities on offer during Eid. Guests can look forward to exclusive dinners on each night of her stay.
As part of the Eid festivities, the resort will be offering culinary interactive experiences for families including; Arabian BBQ beach dinners, bonfire gatherings and the chance to win vouchers and prizes. From activities for younger guests such as the Kite Festival and wellness healing treatments including holistic balancing and body meditation, the Eid holidays will comprise a lineup of experiences.
