The Cocoon Collection, in partnership with kite flying champion Edy Angelino, will once again host a Kite Festival in the Maldives, from 16th to 24th August 2024.
Edy has participated in several international kite flying competitions and won the Italian championship. He runs Free Sport, a specialist sports kite shop in Italy.
Numerous international kite flying champions will participate in the event, including Paola Donatelli, Sandra Gheno, Daniel Wu, Xinbo Tan, and Linares Palau Guilherme, with a special event held in Male’. A children’s kite-making workshop will also be held in Joy Island.
