Jumeirah Olhahali Island prepares for festive season

Jumeirah Olhahali Island is gearing up to offer its guests a three-week series of experiences that embody the spirit of the island and the festive season. The celebrations start on 18th December with a beachside Christmas tree lighting ceremony, featuring handcrafted canapés, beverages, carol singing and a dinner, where guests will be treated to Spanish cuisine.

Family activities will also be available including gingerbread house decoration sessions, chocolate masterclasses, turtle and dolphin quests, and a local island exploration. On Christmas Eve, guests will be invited for a Christmas cocktail party, followed by a festive gala dinner showcasing Christmas classics, with a public buffet offering cuisines from around the globe, accompanied by live entertainment.

Christmas Day will begin with a festive brunch and pool party, and families gathering on the resort’s beach to welcome Santa. More activities that will be offered are Sabered & Stirred cocktail crafting masterclass and a Boxing Day wine dinner. For New Year’s Eve, the resort will host a beachside soirée, featuring cocktails and canapés,  followed by a gala dinner with live performances and the New Year  countdown, accompanying a firework display.

The resort’s visiting wellness guide, Dr. Shagnika Pradhan, will be offering guests her services from 24th December to 7th January. Dr. Pradhan brings her expertise in pain and stress management, offering treatments such as acupuncture and sleep enhancement therapies. The resort will also offer a range of wellness and sporting activities, from Tibetan singing bowl sound healing sessions to a tennis tournament.
