Jumeirah Olhahali welcomes Chef Nonky as Executive Chef

Jumeirah Olhahali Island appoints Chef Nurmaningsih Tejapermana, commonly known as Chef Nonky, as the resort’s new Executive Chef. Chef Nonky brings over two decades of experience in the upscale hospitality industry and is a veteran member of Jumeirah, having accumulated a wealth of knowledge through key positions at international destinations and acclaimed establishments, including Jumeirah Burj Al Arab and Jumeirah Emirates Towers in Dubai. 

Chef Nonky has worked at leading resorts, cruises and airlines across several continents, from Maldives to the United Arab Emirates, Spain, Sri Lanka, the United Kingdom and Australia. A native of Indonesia and a seasoned professional with credentials from some of the world’s most prestigious hotel chains including Jumeirah, Four Seasons, Shangri-La and the Mandarin Oriental Group, Chef Nonky is celebrated for crafting unforgettable dining experiences that are not only unique to the destination, but also emblematic of five-star service.

At Jumeirah Olhahali Island, Chef Nonky will lead her culinary vision across the resort’s four waterfront dining outlets. She will also oversee an extensive array of curated set menus, ranging from Maldivian and Indian, to Middle Eastern and beyond.
