Le Méridien Maldives Resort & Spa has appointed Mohamed Nooradhdheen (Nooray) as the new Director of Human Resources. With over 18 years of extensive experience in luxury hospitality, Nooray brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership to his new role.

Nooray’s impressive career includes leadership roles at prestigious properties such as Vakkaru Maldives, Fairmont Maldives Sirru Fen Fushi, Soneva Jani and Six Senses Laamu. His expertise spans from recruitment to employee development and strategic HR planning, demonstrating his commitment to fostering a positive workplace culture.

Having started his HR career as a coordinator at White Sands Resort & Spa in 2006, Nooray quickly progressed through various roles with increasing responsibility. Notably, he held leadership positions at Coco Bodu Hithi & Coco Prive Pvt Island and was instrumental in setting up HR operations during pre-openings at several renowned resorts.

Nooray’s most recent role as Director of Human Resources at Vakkaru Maldives saw him manage a workforce of over 350 employees, demonstrating his ability to lead and develop HR teams while driving positive organisational change. His commitment to staff welfare and development, alongside his extensive knowledge of HR software systems, positions him as a key asset to the Le Meridien Maldives Resort & Spa team.

As the Director of Human Resources, Nooray will play a key role in aligning HR strategies with the company’s objectives, ensuring continuous growth and employee satisfaction.
