The Westin Maldives Miriandhoo Resort is collaborating with Wellness Practitioner Dr. Shagnika Pradhan for a wellness residency from 19th November to 9th December 2024. With over seven years of experience in naturopathy and yogic sciences, Dr. Shagnika brings a transformative wellness journey to the resort.

Her expertise, which combines ancient holistic traditions with modern therapeutic techniques, complements The Westin’s pillars of well-being, allowing guests to feel, sleep, move, eat, and play well. During her time at the resort, Dr. Shagnika will offer tailored programs designed to promote balance and rejuvenation. Guests can enhance their sleep quality through her Sleep Enhancement Therapy, which integrates acupuncture, reflexology to stimulate the parasympathetic nervous system, herb-infused oil massages, Yoga Nidra, and sound healing to address insomnia and stress.

Her Yoga for Well-being program combines Hatha yoga postures, pranayama breathing exercises, and guided meditation to foster both physical strength and mindfulness. These therapies, alongside offerings such as Naturopathic Manipulative Therapy, Reiki Sound Healing, Aqua Yoga Breath Therapy, and personalized consultations, create a unique opportunity to rediscover harmony and inner peace.

“This collaboration with Dr. Shagnika underscores our commitment to providing enriching wellness experiences for our guests,” said Vijay Kumar, the General Manager of The Westin Maldives Miriandhoo Resort. “Her expertise aligns seamlessly with our mission to inspire balance and rejuvenation through holistic programs that embody The Westin’s well-being pillars.”
