MMPRC promotes Maldives’ luxury offerings at ILTM Cannes 2024

Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) is showcasing Maldives’ luxury offerings at the International Luxury Travel Market (ILTM)’s flagship show, ILTM Cannes 2024. The event is being held at the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès from 2nd to 5th December 2024, kicking off with the Global Forum on the first day.

A total of 12 representatives from 7 companies from the industry are taking part in the event along with MMPRC. The companies are Alila Kothaifaru Maldives, Amilla Fushi, Bliss Maldives Pvt Ltd, Finolhu Baa Atoll Maldives, JA Manafaru, The Nautilus Maldives, and Villa Resorts. 

ILTM Cannes 2024 is a premier luxury travel trade show, attracting key players from the luxury travel sector, including travel advisors and luxury travel brands across the globe. The event provides a significant platform to conduct in-person business meetings, educational sessions, and networking events with the French travel trade and beyond. 

The Maldives’ stand at the event comprises visually stunning displays of resorts, exclusive liveaboard experiences, and the destination’s natural beauty. During the event, luxury travel buyers have the opportunity to connect directly with industry partners through personalised meetings, where they gain insights into the Maldives’ premium offerings. 

France is a significant market for the Maldives, with a strong demand for luxury travel experiences. It is currently the 7th source market for the Maldives. As of October 2024, 1,664,648 travelers arrived from France.
