The world’s largest social travel website TripAdvisor has awarded Cocoon Maldives with a certificate of excellence. The achievement celebrates businesses that are consistently excellent via great user reviews over the previous year.

“We are delighted to have earned the TripAdvisor’s Certificate of Excellence for the third consecutive year,” reads a press statement from Cocoon. “We thank all of our valued guests for sharing their wonderful experiences with us”

“TripAdvisor is excited to announce the recipients of the 2019 Certificate of Excellence, which for nearly a decade has celebrated businesses that have consistently received positive ratings from travelers and diners on the world’s largest travel platform,” said Neela Pal, vice president of brand, TripAdvisor. “This recognition allows us to publicly recognize businesses that are actively taking into account customer feedback to help travelers confidently experience the most highly reviewed places to eat, stay, and explore.”

At present, Cocoon enjoys a TripAdvisor ranking of 4.5/5 stars with 922 reviews. Guests loved the service and location, with one user who had wanted to spend half her vacation time in Sri Lanka opting to spend two full weeks at Cocoon instead.

The Lhaviyani Atoll property showcases a blend of Italian design and Maldivian beauty. Cocoon’s interiors are designed by LAGO, a prominent Italian design firm and Cocoon has dubbed itself the Maldives’ first ‘designer resort’.
