The votes are in, well, they were in last week but we still want to celebrate LUX* South Ari Atoll Resort & Villas’ success. They were awarded Best Luxury Resort 2020 by Travel + Leisure India’s Best Awards, now in its ninth year.
The awards were hosted virtually for the first time and spanned seven days from 23 – 29 November 2020.

LUX* South Ari is a pretty forward-looking property – last year they commissioned what was then the largest sea-based floating solar power system.
It’s also really funky – Hotel Insider visited (too briefly) and was enamored of the resort’s over-water dining compound East Market that sent out heavy Asian street-food vibes.
