Soneva Fushi hosted acclaimed Italian-American actor Stanley Tucci at the resort last week.
Visiting under the Soneva Stars programme, Tucci introduced his award-winning movie Julie and Julia before a screening at the resort’s outdoor cinema. The Academy Award-nominated actor also joined Soneva’s co-founders Sonu and Eva Shivdasani for an exclusive dinner with invited guests. Tucci worked with the Flying Sauces restaurant’s chef to create an Italian-inspired meal.
Season two of his Emmy Award-winning CNN travel and food series ‘Stanley Tucci: Searching for Italy, La Fortuna,’ is due to air this year. In October, Tucci released his third best-selling cookbook, ‘Taste: My Life Through Food.’
A versatile actor who has appeared over 100 films, countless television shows and more than a dozen plays on and off Broadway, Tucci’s film credits include The Hunger Games, Spotlight, Beauty and the Beast, Transformers: The Last Knight, Captain America: The First Avenger, and The Devil Wears Prada.
