Resorts across the Maldives are preparing to celebrate Easter with special activities and festivities, offering a host of packages for the spring holiday season.
Here’s a selection of what’s on offer at top luxury resorts.
Highlights of the Active programme is the Football Freestyle Camp by Guinness World Record Holder and Football Freestyler Extraordinaire – Marcel Gurk. This is complimented by a water-sports festival (pedal boat, kayaking, and catamaran), volleyball match, and most importantly the Easter egg hunt– where kids of all ages scour the island to find eggs hidden everywhere in the resort and collect them. Once the event is over, it’s time to enjoy those scrumptious Easter eggs.
There are some really eggs-citing and entertaining activities waiting for guests during this Easter period. At the end of the day, kids want to be at a place where it’s fun, and Lily Beach promises to deliver just that. Some entertaining events include the Easter colouring challenge, Easter egg painting, & basket decoration. Most importantly, the Football Freestyle Camp starts with a demonstration by Marcel on the 15th of April. Mark the date everyone.
All fun and no learning makes Jack and Jill dull kids. So, the team has also snuck some enjoyable educational opportunities into the Easter programme. Parents can rest easy knowing that their children are experiencing the joys of Flearning – learning while simultaneously having so much fun during their stay (get it?!?). For tactile learners, there are a few hands-on activities such as photo frame-making and muffin decorating waiting to be discovered.
Easter arrives early at SAii Lagoon Maldives. The celebration commences on 11 April 2022 with heaps of exciting daily outdoor fun activities organized by the SAiilanders at Koimala & Maalimi’s Junior Beach Club & Camp from biking around the island, physical fitness activities, wall art decor to sandcastle making competition all throughout the Easter period. Activities are carefully curated with the perfect holiday in mind for kids and families with a fun-learning programme.

Brimming with extraordinary escapades to delight all ages, the culinary side of the festivities begin with The Grand Easter Sunday Lunch and The Easter Dinner creating an unbelievable gastronomical journey that will leave guests wanting even more.
As part of Siyam World’s year-round visiting star chefs’ program and to add that little cherry on top of the cake of those Easter celebrations, Two-Michelin-star Chef Sebastian Frank, will join the resort’s Easter Escapades this year by preparing his world-famous home-style Austrian dishes at THE CUBE, the newest addition to the array of dining outlets at Siyam World, Maldives.
Sebastian Frank is one of Germany’s best-known chefs and is highly regarded not only for his excellent, home-style Austrian cuisine, but also for his commitment to a sustainable and responsible food culture.
