Lily Hotels has appointed leading travel representation company LINKIN Reps for marketing and PR to drive sales to its resort properties in the Maldives.

“India has always been a very important market for us, and we want to continue working closely with our partners and clients there. Given the business uncertainty due to COVID and other international shocks, we are happy that LINKIN Reps will represent us, with their vast tourism experience and through their large network of travel agents in the country,” said Desislav Gospodinov, Lily Hotels’ Group Director of Sales and Marketing.

Komal Seth, founder and director of LINKIN Reps, said: “We take pride in being appointed as representation company for Lily Hotels in India. We are looking forward to working closely with the Lily Hotels to position their portfolio of resorts as attractive destinations for Indian travellers to the Maldives.”

A pioneering local company established in 1993, Lily Hotels operates Lily Beach Resort & Spa, the first all-inclusive resort in the Maldives, and Hideaway Beach Resort & Spa, comprised of curated luxury beach villas with dedicated butler service as a ‘resort in a resort concept.’

LINKIN Reps, renowned for its support to outbound travel partners in Indian market, represent DMCs, airlines, hotels, and various international tourism boards in public relations, sales, marketing and social media promotion. With over 18 years of combined experience, the company specialises in the conception, implementation, and effective execution of events and promotions.

Through the collaboration, Lily Hotels hopes to highlight their award-winning all-inclusive package and unique selling points of Lily Beach or Hideaway and its Signature Collection.

India was one of the top source markets for the Maldives in 2021. The neighbouring country is ranked the third top market so far this year with 46,154 holidaymakers as 30 March, representing a 10.8% market share.
