Kandima Maldives hosted Italian stars Davide Calabria and Patrick Cutrone for a football camp with players from the Maldives National Under19 team.
Calabria, who plays right-back for newly-crowned Serie A champions AC Milan, and Cutrone, a striker for Serie A side Empoli on loan from England’s Wolverhampton Wanders, are also part of the Italian national team.
“At Kandima Maldives, we believe in giving back and bringing a meaningful contribution to our community. We strive to bring innovative and exceptional money-can’t-buy experiences such as bringing famous football stars to mingle with our guests and staff,” said Neeraj Seth, Cluster Director of Marketing Communication & Public Relations, Kandima Maldives.
The resort organised a special party for Calabria and Cutrone at its adults-only Forbidden bar with guests, media, VIPs and Maldivian sports influencers, all of whom enjoyed the exclusive opportunity to take photos and selfies with the stars.
The football camp for the young Maldivian players was organised in collaboration with Manta Air and Plankton Maldives.
