To commemorate World Wildlife Conservation Day (4 December), Nova Maldives has introduced Maldivian Flora and Fauna workshops as part of its weekly guest activities.
With the new activity, the resort aims to raise awareness about the coral reef, the surrounding underwater garden, the importance of nature and wildlife conservation, and to share knowledge on how to minimise our impact on the wildlife ecosystem as much as possible and give back to nature.
The workshops are complimentary and the resort invites guests to make a charitable donation to the World Wildlife Fund.
Nova Maldives also engages in various other sustainability initiatives, such as its Coral Frame Sponsorship programme. By supporting this initiative, guests will receive online updates which capture the growth of their coral frame in real-time and allows guests to help conserve the natural wonders surrounding the resort.
