The Executive Chef at Reethi Beach Resort, Farish Mukhtar, has become a certified member of the World Master Chefs Society.
The World Master Chefs Society is a leading global honours society for exceptionally skilled professional chefs. With over 220 members, gaining membership of the Society is a recognised status of professionalism, talent and integrity.
The Society is made up of carefully selected, like-minded professional chefs who all share a passion for their craft and for developing talent for the next generation of chefs. It is the only Society certified to award the title of World Master Chef and regularly awards reputable chefs with both World Master Chef (MWMCS) and Fellow (FWMCS) status.
With a career spanning almost 20 years creating unique dishes that showcase the flavours of the Maldives, Mukthar’s innovative approach blends traditional local ingredients with modern techniques and global influences.
Throughout his career, Mukhtar was mentored by two Michelin-Star chefs. He believes in the power of mentorship and is committed to empowering his colleagues and encouraging them to develop their own styles and techniques.
As Executive Chef, Mukhtar works closely with the management team at Reethi Beach to provide exceptional dining experiences to guests.
