The Westin Maldives Miriandhoo Resort is set to commemorate Global Running Day (7 June) with a special edition of its ‘Run Westin’ in collaboration with local athlete and trainer Kai. The wellness resort invites guests to join the team for a revitalising run to maintain their fitness routine while they are on vacation.
With over a decade of certification and extensive experience in sports, Kai has participated in numerous athletic competitions and has established her own boot camp in the Maldives as well as organising retreats across the globe. She has also completed a barefoot marathon in Athens.
Following the run, participants will be welcomed to the resort’s Island Kitchen, where its Executive Chef Jorge Colazo will serve up a rejuvenating breakfast menu. Guests can indulge in a delectable spread of nutritious and delicious offerings, carefully curated to provide the perfect fuel to kickstart their day.
“We are thrilled to celebrate Global Running Day with our esteemed guests and the guidance of Maldivian expert trainer Kai” said Vijay Kumar, General Manager at The Westin Maldives Miriandhoo Resort.
“Through our weekly Run Westin, we aim to inspire our guests to embrace a healthy and energetic lifestyle while showcasing the beauty of our remarkable surroundings. We invite everyone to join us for this special event and enjoy a fulfilling morning run followed by a nourishing breakfast experience.”
