The team arrived in the Maldives on 29 May to take part in the Visit Maldives’ Storytellers Conference after which they were hosted at W Maldives and Le Méridien Maldives Resort & Spa for a familiarisation trip.

The team consisted of four Journalists from four German publications and a PR Representative from German speaking markets.

With the combined reach of the media members, the generated content is expected to exceed a reach of 2,568,000.

This media trip is part of MMPRC’s marketing strategy for German-speaking markets (Germany, Switzerland, Austria). As of 6 June, the German market is the top 4th source market to the Maldives with 61,674 tourist arrivals.
