Luxury airline Beond debuts in September

Dubbed the world’s first all-leisure airline, the new Maldives-based luxury airline Beond is set to to launch a Dubai-Maldives route in September.

The new airline promises to offer customers a highly tailored, uncompromising travel experience and fly to the most desirable destinations. The operator hopes to provide affordable luxury travel with a private jet-like experience and comfort for direct long-haul flights.

A partnership between local hospitality company SIMDI Group and the UAE-based Arabesque, the airline’s fleet of A320 aircraft features all-premium seating arrangements with 68 fully lie-flat seats.

The airline plans to provide concierge and chauffeur services out of private jet terminals. Home check-in services will also be available. Luggage will be collected from the passenger by a chauffeur and transferred directly to the hotel room. 

The airline plans on expanding to 52 non-stop destinations in 26 countries, including Hong Kong, Milan, Munich, Paris, Riyadh, Singapore, Taipei, Vienna, and Zurich.
