Amari Raaya Maldives resort has officially opened its doors, welcoming its first guests on 1 August.
Located in Raa Atoll, the resort can be reached via a 45-minute seaplane ride from the Velana International Airport.
Developed by Panchshil Realty, Amari Raaya Maldives is managed by Onyx Hospitality, renowned for its exceptional and personalised hospitality experiences.
The resort features 187 villas including the Beach Villas, Beach Pool Villas, and Family Beach Villas. The overwater categories include Ocean Villas, Ocean Pool Villas, Sunset Ocean Villas, Sunset Ocean Pool Villas, Deluxe Ocean Pool Villas. The 1,228sqm Amari Presidential Villa can accommodate four adults and two children.
Amari Raaya Maldives offers eight food and beverage outlets; each one finding the perfect balance between Thai, Asian, Maldivian and Western flavours. Its signature Amaya Food Gallery serves up famous street food and hawker delights. At the rooftop bar Ampers&nd, guests can savour sunset snacks and cocktails. SOAQ, the poolside snack bar adds some colour to your day while Pregolino serves casual yet sophisticated Italian dining. The resort’s Seb’s Shack is packed with tasty bites and ice-cold beverages while the Village Café offers fresh pastries, coffee and savoury snacks. The Fulhi Bus tours the island three times a day with ice cream, fresh juice and cocktails for all while the resort’s Sports Bar is the perfect place to refuel after an afternoon of fun, fitness and island recreation.
In the evenings, guests can immerse themselves in the local culture through live music, traditional Boduberu nights, and regular cultural events and festivities.
