IndiGo Airlines has announced plans to resume direct flights between Hyderabad and the Maldives from 31 October.
“We are thrilled to announce the recommencement of our daily non-stop flights connecting Hyderabad and Male, from October 2023. The introduction of these flights will not only improve accessibility but also offer travelers added flexibility and convenience,” said Vinay Malhotra, IndiGo’s Head of Global Sales.

The flights are being reinstated to cater to business and leisure travellers seeking new and affordable flying options to access destinations that facilitate business development and offer tourist attractions.
The Maldives is one of the most popular holiday destinations for Indians. India is the second largest tourist market to the Maldives with 122,583 arrivals as of 31 July.
