Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC/ Visit Maldives) announces its participation at ITB China 2024. The event is one of the largest B2B exclusive trade shows focused on the Chinese travel Market and will be held from 27th to 29th May 2024 at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center.
Visit Maldives aims to provide an opportunity to interested parties to participate in the fair and facilitate a platform for industry partners to promote their products and experiences. Interested companies can apply via the google form “Expression of Interest for ITB China 2024” before 15:00 hours on Sunday, 21st January 2024.
China has always been one of the most significant markets to the Maldivian tourism industry. Before the global pandemic, China was the number one source market to the Maldives. Today, the arrival numbers are steadily rising, nearing pre-pandemic levels. In 2023, Maldives welcomed over 172,163 tourists from China.
