Kuda Villingili marked the resort’s first anniversary on Monday (6 June) with a celebratory lunch for ambassadors and a special event for guests.
The management served lunch to the ambassadors, who also joined an event held at The Hawkers restaurant for the guests.
“It is a moment of pride looking at our past achievements. The resort opened amid the pandemic, yet we have been able to come this far with the support of everyone involved. I am sincerely grateful to our guests, ambassadors, the owners, and stakeholders who continue to be part of this family,” said General Manager Morgan Martinello.
In the past year, Kuda Villingili achieve Green Globe certification and worked closely with the local community on neighbouring islands to support sustainability initiatives.
On the occasion of the first anniversary, the management extended their “deepest gratitude to the guests, ambassadors, and stakeholders who have helped establish the resort as a stunning destination where guests’ time and space are redefined.”
Kuda Villingili’s philosophy of developing the potential of its ambassadors – as happy ambassadors make for happy guests – was developed from the ideology of the Owner of MFAR, a visionary leader and philanthropist who considers the betterment of people in all his entrepreneurial decisions.
Located a 30-minute speedboat ride from the Velana International Airport, Kuda Villingili Resort features 59 beach villas and 36 water villas in an Asian eclectic style as well as seven restaurants and a spa located on a separate island.
