Crown & Champa Resorts announces new property

Crown & Champa Resorts has announced the newest addition to its portfolio, Jawakara Islands Maldives, set to open this year. 

Two islands make up the Jawakara Islands Maldives, Mabin and Dheru, connected by a 700-meter bridge over the Jawakara house reef, offering guests two islands to explore.

Located in Lhaviyani Atoll, the 5-star luxury resort is a 40-minute seaplane ride away from the Velana International Airport. Alternatively, the resort can be reached by a 35-minute domestic flight transfer to Madivaru Airport, followed by a 40-minute speedboat ride to the resort.

The resort features 290 villas, including beach villas, beach villas with pool and over-water villas. The Water Pool Villas at Dheru island are for guests over 18-years old.

The larger island, Mabin, welcomes children in all room categories, including its Water Pool Villas. The island’s Kids Club promises a world of fun, creativity and social interaction. 

Jawakara Islands offers 6 restaurants and 6 bars, as well as two spas, gift shops, a clinic and a photo studio. 

The resort promises an excellent house reef, a dive centre and a water sports centre. Sports and recreation offers include a fitness centre, two infinity pools overlooking the ocean, a kid’s pool, artificial turf courts for football (futsal), padel tennis, tennis and badminton courts, a volleyball court and a golf course. Click here for more information.
