Maldives Marketing & Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC / Visit Maldives), along with 6 industry partners, promoted the underwater scenery of the Maldives to the SouthEast Asia (SEA) market at ADEX Ocean Festival 2024. The event was held from 12th to 14th April 2024, at the Suntec Singapore Exhibition and Convention Centre.
ADEX is the biggest and longest-running dive expo in Asia and brings together VIPs and speakers from across the globe, including scientists, marine conservationists, underwater photographers, videographers, and more. The expo provides a platform for various exhibitors, such as dive operators, equipment manufacturers, and national tourism boards of countries.
MMPRC promoted the Maldives as the most preferred destination among Southeast Asian, especially Singaporean travelers at the fair. They also showcased the diving and underwater experiences available in the Maldives. A consumer survey, distribution of informative flash cards about Maldivian marine life, and a display of artworks with different dive locations in the Maldives were conducted at the stall.
